Here's a Shout out to the new Walker in town!
So yes, Carter took his first two steps today!! One after the other. He was so excited afterwards he crawled over to Dad as fast as he could with a big smile on his face to be wrapped up in Dad's arms. Matt and I praised him, congratulated him, and clapped for him (he understands the clapping part the best). It was so fun to see how proud he was of himself. Thus far the best moments for me as a Mom is seeing that proud sparkle in my son's eyes. I hope he will always be able to have that twinkle. Today was a good day.

So Carter just walked a ton more!!! We didn't expect Carter to really walk anymore today or even for a couple days longer, but he just took around 10 - 20 steps more. The most he's taken at one time is probably around 5 to 6. Wow, Matt and I are just overwhelmed with how excited we are for him. He's so awesome.
WOW! Congrats to a big boy! That's awesome. GO CARTER! Riley has discovered the stairs and his record is 8 in a row. Isn't it so fun to see our boys accomplish such big things?! Amber, I had no idea you were so busy. How do you do it? I'm glad you like taking care of those kids. I'm sure it makes each day eventful.... Carter looks adorable in his lion costume- so fun!
Yea!!! Good for him! That is so exciting when they start to walk. Less frusterating for them too. Now no more dirty hands and knees. Paul was so much happier when he started walking. How old is Carter now?
Oh my gosh that is awesome, I loved seeing my nieces and nephews when they first started to walk. Thats so exciting congrats amber & matt!
Oh and side note... thanks amber for the help, after I did it I couldnt believe I had to ask for help,it all was kinda self explanitory. But thats what familys for right?! Love ya guys!

Oh my goodness sakes! I can NOT believe that the C man is walking! That is crazy. He can't be old enough, NO WAY! How fun, though. I'm sure he is so stinking cute toddling around. Way to go, Carter! and I loved reading your letter, Amber. You are such a good mom and Carter has it made being able to spend all day with you. You are awesome!
OH NO!! THe trouble really begins now Amber! Once they start they just don't start. Haha Congrats though! I bet he looks so darn cute toddling around!
Oh, so fun! I love when they learn to walk, that is one of the funnest things. Even though it makes church even harder...oh well!
