So, a few weeks ago we decided that maybe we should finally get Carter in for his 2 yr-old pictures since he has been 2 since Dec. 18th.
We were so happy when he did so well during the photo shoot. We told him if he smiled big then we would send the pictures to Grandma (so Grandmas here they come). He seemed pretty happy about that. But what really got him was this wooden train that they had at their studio. All they had to do was tell him there was a train involved and he was putty in their hands.
We got a kick out of some of these "grown-up" poses that he did.

He is soooo handsome. I think it is totally appropriate to have pride in your children by the way. Where did you get those pictures. They did a great job. Not that it would be hard with such a great little model.
Oh my gosh, I love these. What a little stud. I love it, he's so cute! And I know how you feel, sometimes looking at the pictures and not really believing that it's your own kid in them. Crazy stuff, isn't it? And go ahead and be humbly grateful for that kid, you have every right to!! Miss you!
That kind of pride is a good thing, and you have every right to be proud ... that is one cute kid!!!

Oh my goodness! I have to say, I have THE most handsome nephews EVER! Oooo, he is going to be such the stallion when he grows up! Seriously, these pictures are so cute. I can't believe he is two and such the little man.
And about feeling pride in your kids? I think that is totally ok. I don't think that having pride in always a "bad thing."
Thanks for posting these pictures. They are awesome!
Those are awesome pictures. For a two year old, in the pics Carter looked like he cooperated very well.
By the way, it's okay to have pride in your children and you definately should be. I bet it makes Carter feel really good inside to know that!
cute outfit! For whatever reason I've always thought Carter looked more like Matt, but I was just noticing that he looks a lot like you in some of these pics.
Oh Amber and Carter, the pictures are so darling. It makes me so lonesome to see you! They show his cute personality so well. We love you guys.
