Our Little Talker

Carter has hit that phase of life where it seems every day he says a new word. He picks up things so fast. For instance, the other day we were singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and he started saying knees. It is so fun to see what he comes up with. The following videos we took at the beginning of the month and show him saying many of his favorite words. Since then he has said quite a few more but many of these still remain to be his favorites. Can you tell we are proud parents? Oh well, it's our blog. :)

He is so cute!! I'm so sad we missed you guys up at grandma's house. I do wish you lived closer. At least you are such a good blogger and you keep us posted. I really can't believe how big he is and of course he is a little stud!!

What? You don't have that kid saying "Go Cougars" or "Freakin' Thalgotts" yet?? I'm shocked and dismayed!

Seriously, though, I had a huge grin on my face watching those. I loved them. They perfectly captured what I absolutely love about that age. So cute! and Tyler was even watching them and he said "he is cute boy!".

And I'm not sure what made me smile more--little Carter or hearing you and Matt's voices talking to him and laughing, and of course seeing him stick his fingers up Matt's nose. I mean, he sees his dad's finger up his nose all the time, why not put his in there too? It must be pretty fascinating since Daddy's doing it all the time, right? :) Love you guys! (ps--we are going to be in Des Moines next week and I'm not sure I can even handle it since you guys won't be there...will not possibly be the same!)
