Memory Lane

A couple of my friends have done this tag and it was really fun for me to fish through so many of my memories of them. And then to read other people's memories that they had of that same person. So if you want to humor me play along...

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog (if you have one) and see how many people leave a memory about you. HAVE FUN! (you don't have to have a blog in order to leave me a memory!)

The time (or times) where I would find you and Matt making out in the house on University. Nice.

Also when we went to Rodizio and you made me give the crappy, crappy waiter a good tip, because of your compassion for servers.

Oh Amber Y. where do I even begin! Its hard to come up with just one when I've known you since the 5th grade. So here is just one of the many memories! I have to say the time we slept in your trailer outside. Just the 5 of us and playing games and talking till we couldn't stay awake. That and of course calling boys and talking about boys! Great times!

I loved all the times that we would come home from dates or being out with friends and we would sit and chat about how much fun we had or the horrible things that happened. Also, the wrestling story about Carter made me think of the times that we would go in your room upstairs and tackle each other and roll around on the floor. Not always for fun either. Or all of our "discussions" when mom would tell us to stop fighting.

Oh, but remember that ONE time you came and played Settlers and drank Diet PEPSI? Yeah, that one time was pretty sweet, right?

OK, this is going to be long because honestly there are SOOOO many to choose from. I think you guys named the best ones. We were honestly laughing til we cried reading yours. But here goes.

I remember Amber was THE first person I met when we pulled into Summerwood and she helped us move in, unload boxes, gave me needed phone #'s, took me to enrichment, etc... And why in the world did it take us a good year and a half after that to really start hanging out? Ugh, wasted time! So after that, I remember laughing until I cried (many many times), our trip to KC, you guys insisting that pop out of a 2 liter bottle was just as good as out of a can, lots of farting (and Garrett insisting that Matt's had a metallic smell to them), Matt being the human garbage disposal at my house, locking the keys in our car at Cool Basil for my birthday, having you guys drive us home only to find out that our house key didn't work and then having to call a locksmith, finding out all the things Matt felt he could share with his mother, eating plenty of pulled pork, pudding cakes, and drinking some Cocoa Motion, and settling, settling, settling, farming occasionally, building railroads, and settling. And everyone's designated places at the table, with designated colors. Me white, Garrett orange, Matt red, Amber blue. OK, I could very possibly come up with some more, but that'll have to do it and this ends the longest comment I have ever written in my life. Good night, y'all. :)

Oh, hello! I just re=read my comment and realized that I failed to mention the massive amounts of HyVee Chinese which were consumed by us, and how Matt would flirt with his 'ladies' at the counter to get more food.

How could I not mention playing house in the awesome toy room, plalying barbies, using Chris and Dan's rooms as our house, and that huge giant sized pillow we would alway jump on! Oh, and selling kool-aid!

Well....I've got a lot of memories, some more embarrasing than others! I won't share anything about Walmart parking lots or libraries (I hope you know what I am talking about!). One thing I just remembered was when we were skipping school and we went to Barnes and Noble. We were just walking around and we saw the sex aisle which of course we thought was absolutely hilarious! As we were picking through books giggling a workier came over, rudely pointed to a sign that said 18 and older and kicked us out of the aisle!
